Sample Credit Report

This is an example of a bad credit report with an explanation of what it means.

"I" means installment account, "R" means revolving credit, "M" means mortgage account, "O" means open account.

These accounts are graded from 1 to 9. So M01 means mortgage account paid within 30 days of due date. M02 means mortgage paid in more than 30 days and less than 60 days. M03 means mortgage more than 60 days but less than 90 days.M04 means more than 90 days but less than 120 days. M05 is mortgage more than 120 days past due. M07 is making regular payments under Wage Earner Plan or similar.

08 is a repossession. 8A is voluntary repossession, 8D is legal repossession. M09 means bad debt. By the way, if you see, 00 it means too new to rate.
