Do you buy homes from private home owners?

Stand apart from other real estate investors who may be competing to buy the same house with a "Credibility Kit".

It should look professional and give the impression that you are someone who can be trusted.

You should ideally have a kit  with color pictures in a 3 ring binder plus copies of the important pages in a simple Report Cover that you can buy at any office supply store.

It should contain:

bulletA personal resume. Your name, address, phone, fax numbers and email address. Consider adding your cell phone number. Your background, years in business, years in community, educational background, hobbies and organizations you belong to.
bulletA color photo of either yourself or yourself and family.
bulletLetters of recommendation. Your title company, real estate attorney, banker, insurance agent, CPA. The banker's letter doesn't have to go into your credit or finances. A simple letter saying that you have been a customer of the bank since XXXX and are a customer in good standing will do.
bulletDo you have a business license? Mortgage brokers license? Real estate license?
bulletAre you a member of the Better Business Bureau or similar organization?
bulletDo you advertise in the Yellow Pages? How about a printout of your web page? You can probably get a FREE web site from your Internet Service Provider.
bulletTestimonials from people you've solved house selling problems for, along with there picture if possible.
bulletPictures with celebrities, if possible.

Particularly if they are selling under pressure, give the impression of being (and BE) a trustworthy individual.
