Have you received spam, frequently touting a stock, that appears to come from us? The address probably started with a jumble of letters like: prwoqmg@mortgage-investments.com. We didn't send it. Spammers are easily able to forge another person's name and email address as the return address of their garbage. Go here for a full explanation as to how this happens. If this concerns a stock being promoted we suggest you forward the email, with all headers, to enforcement@sec.gov and uce@ftc.gov. If you'd like to do a little detective work, it is also possible to track down the company being promoted and send them a copy, with your complaint.
