2. Our ads appear in date order. Now you can make sure your ad is always close to the top of the list. You can give your ad Gold, Silver or Bronze prominence for just $20, 10 or 5 per month.  This affects the order in which they are seen. Click here to give priority listing to your ad or create a new ad. The way it works is that all Gold ads appear first, in date order, then Silver, Bronze and then other ads.

3. When checking my own credit report recently I discovered a negative item for a late paid credit card. But it was not mine but my daughter's. I had signed as guarantor for the card when she was under 18 and she had recently missed a couple of payments. Of course I ensured the card was immediately paid off and closed. Be warned, even though I had no idea that she had been late nor I had never used the card Equifax refused to remove the negative item from my credit report. My solution, I sent them a Certified letter demanding they add my explanation of this item to the report. They are required to do this by law. My explanation of course made it clear that this was not my fault but that Equifax had refused to removed it.
Surprise, surprise! They removed the negative item. Perhaps they just didn't want to look foolish.
The lessons of course are (1) never guarantee someone else's debt (2) Demand by Certified Mail that negative items are removed (3) if they won't then demand by Certified mail that they add a comment to the report that will either nullify the bad info or perhaps tempt them into removing it altogether. 4. As I'm sure you know, over many years a large amount of manufacturing has left the USA. Televisions, clothing, VCRs are just a few examples. Now many service jobs are following. Major corporations are setting up call centers in India. Even adding in the cost of diverting the phones calls to India, the companies still save money. Now software development jobs are following. There are more computer degrees awarded by Indian universities than by USA ones. Microsoft is just one company taking advantage of the far lower wages.
Now add to this the number of jobs being taken over by the Internet. Banking, travel, book purchase, even many government functions are handled on the Internet.
Of course there are some jobs that can never go overseas or on-line. Restaurant servers, doctors, dentists, plumbers, builders, dry cleaners for example.
But we are convinced that the next few years will see many more of our jobs disappearing.
Likewise the commercial real estate market will suffer. Less offices and retail stores will be needed. Of course there will still be a need for many offices and stores. But even a 10% drop in demand will cause major vacancy issues and dropping rents as landlords struggle to stay full.
